Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms govern your use of BizCard (the “Service”), operated by Rodrigo J. Pla Escalante (VAT ID ES26888711D), based in Spain. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What BizCard is
BizCard lets you create digital business cards with a permanent QR code, share your contact details, capture leads from visitors, and manage cards for yourself or your team. It’s offered on a 14-day free trial, with paid Individual, Business, and Enterprise plans.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard — see our Privacy Policy for what that removes.
3. Content you submit
The contact details, images, and other content you add to your cards remain yours. By publishing a card, you’re responsible for making sure the content is accurate and that you have the right to use it (including any logo or photo you upload). Don’t use the Service to publish anything false, illegal, or that impersonates someone else.
4. Lead and visitor data
If a visitor to your published card chooses to share their details with you, you’re responsible for handling that data lawfully — including honoring any request from that person to access or delete what you’ve collected about them.
5. Billing and cancellation
Paid plans are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We don’t see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that directly and securely.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you chose (monthly or yearly) until canceled.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings — you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
- We don’t offer refunds for partial or unused periods.
Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. By subscribing, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate access to the Service, and you expressly waive this right once you begin using paid features.
6. Third-party services
BizCard integrates with third-party services including Stripe (billing), Resend (email delivery), and Apple/Google Wallet (digital pass storage). We don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, the availability or behavior of these third-party services.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizCard and Rodrigo J. Pla Escalante are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time — the date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
